Cap Verde is using the euro currency and with their low land occupation (20% only), the government clearly show that they do not want to overbuild like in some areas in Spain.

Winter is almost there, only the snow is missing in the UK. Despite the financial crisis, numerous people are planning to spend their winter holidays in France in the Alps. The French Alps have been a ski hot spot for decades now and that means that there are multiple ski slopes and activities for all the family. If you are a ski amateur and love to spend a few weeks per year in the Alps then why do you still pay for the accommodation?

The Bank of England slashed its key rate by 1.5% to 3%. The ECB cut rates by half a point to 3.25%. Those move show the current difficulties of the moment and as The bank of England cited “marked deterioration in the outlook for economic activity at home”. They intend to encourage borrowers with rates which haven’t been that low since half a century (1955). Economists were predicting a decrease of 1% and where surprised by the decision and acknowledge the intention of the BOE to fight the current crisis.
